"Complex Networking Question"
I have a proxy server connected internally to my home with 3 clients on it. The proxy server is connected to the Cable Modem. I need to run another computer into the cable modem (using the same IP address) but not through the Proxy server. Does anyone know if I can install anothe system between the Proxy Server and the Cable Modem with just a firewall on it and connect both the proxy server and the other computer to it without another proxy server?

Just a followup - I put another hub between the cable modem and the Proxy server. Then I got another IP address. Now I have 2 LANs running thru the same cable modem and it hasn't hurt performance.
