"What do I need for home network?"
This should be easy for the technical types. I just want to add my mother-in-laws laptop to make a simple home network. It looks like the phoneline method is probably the best bet for our needs. My desktop has Win98 w/dsl connection through an external modem into an ethernet card. The laptop has Win/95 and a double card slot. There are so many choices from the vendors I don't know where to start and what I really need. Thanks for any help.
