"Networking a Cable Modem with a PC and a Mac"
Hi there.

We have recently gotten a cable modem setup and are looking to have it hooked to an imac and a regular compaq PC. Wondering what would be the most effective product to be capable of doing that task. Right now we have a Motorola Surfboard External Cable modem that will be hooked up through an eithernet connection on the compaq. The imac has only a USB connection. Any ideas, please email me. Thanks!

Motorola SURFboard SB4200 cable modems have a USB and an ethernet connection. You might look into getting a newer modem. The USB and Ethernet Combo modems alot of times allows Mac and Pc hookup with an additional IP charge thru your ISP or the cable company.
