"Sharing Cable Modem in a Netware 5 Network"
I have and existing Netware 5 network with 2 clients and one server. I would like to add an additional machine to the network, which is the one connected to the cable modem. I have tried connecting the cable modem to the uplink port on my hub and connecting this new machine as a client on the network. Everything works fine until the IP address's lease expires and it attempts to obtain a new lease. Does anyone have any Ideas as to how I can accomplish this? If I cannot share the Internet connection, that is fine, I really just need my current Internet access machine to remain connected. If it helps, I use MediaOne in Minneapolis and the modem is a U.S.Robotics-3Com CMX

Thanks in advance for your help.
p.s. has anyone used Novell's Internet Access Server(part of Netware 5), and will this solve my problem?

To get around the issue of the lease expiring, use an nlm called dhcpclnt (i think you need a fairly recent service pack for this. As for the internet server, I doubt whether you will need it unless you are going to host web pages on your server.... Nat is all that you really need to share the modem.
