I am currently renting my cable modem and am looking to buy. Does anyone know of one that has all the networking equipment to hook up 2computer's? No router needed.

I know linksys makes modems but I believe that you will still need to buy a separate router to act as your firewall. Not sure if there would be security issues having a modem router, seems like it would be more detectable on the side of an isp as they can send files to your modem. Also, make sure the modem you buy is compatible with your isp before you buy. Mike gunther52@yahoo.com
