"one ip/cable modem, 1 router, 1 hub, 5 computers"
ok, I have my cable modem going into my linksys router which in turn is connected to 3 computers, and then another router/hub (to the uplink slot) then there are 2 computers coming from that. My problem is, that the second router (being used as a hub) is wireless, 1 of the computers is hardlined to it (that works fine)..the other is using the wireless capability, and sometimes it connects to the internet, sometimes it doesn't, but it's always viewable within the network...any ideas?

You got it right so far but the 2nd wireless router cannot really be used. I would replace the hardwired router with the wireless router. For more ports I would suggest just a passive hub/switch. ALso turning everything on in the correct order can cure connect problems. modem - wireless router - then PC's. Changing to wireless router as main will need config with ISP for new mac address on router. E-mail if you still are having problems.
