"Netgear RT311 Router"

Hi,

Anyone set up Optimum Online cable modem on a network using the netgear RT311 router?

I had this working great with DSL, but cannot get it working good with the cable. I was able to get something out of it by "spoofing" the MAC address, but the internet would STOP responding and then a while later start responding.

Any ideas?
