"Wireless network from house to house."
My friend and me live across a street from each other and we were looking to get a wireless network to share cable and are hard drives. I was just wondering if any one has tried doing this? And has it worked? Also can some one recommend a good wireless network?

Thanks
Mike Wolf

I cant speak from experience but it should work, as long as you two arent very far apart and there is nothing interefering with it. Id suggest checking www.3Com.com or www.diamondmm.com for some good wireless NICs though...but they can get quiet pricy...also im not quiet sure about the legality of sharing cable modem with more than just your computers...just dont mention it to your cable co.
