my conn in arkansas sucks bad and i am switching to cable to get a little better preformance and my cable company offers 512kb dl and 384kb ul is this gonna be worth it right now my 56k connects at 33k......help?

You are going to be blown away! You see, I live in Arkansas, too, and I recently got Comcast@Home. I very rarely get under 400KB per second, which is very fast. I have seen bursts of almost 1 MB per second! It is incredible! I give credit to the fact that no one in Arkansas is getting cable internet. I don't know if it is lack of intelligence or what. Anyway, it will change how you use the internet, I guarantee.
