I'd like to hear from anyone in the Tallahassee area who has Comcast@Home. How is their service? Is anyone happy with it? DSL isn't available to me yet, but Comcast just anounced its availability and I am tempted. I am put off by the extra cost for multiple IPs, as I have a LAN with two PCs and two Macs and will certainly not pay for four. Anyone succeed in getting around this using Wingate or other solutions? Thanks. --Dave

I live in Tally as well and am thinking of getting comcast @home cable modem service, but with what i have heard about it in other areas im not sure if i want to take the chance now, i would like to know if someone has had any experiances with comcast @home cable modem service in the area as well before i switch to there service.

Comcast charges for additional Ip's if you have a hub... a router will let you get them all online at the same time, and it's not a full charge for each computer. An additional IP is 6.95 a month. it's not as bad as you hear.
