Incredibly, I can't seem to find any cable modem service in Palo Alto, in the heart of Silicon Valley. Am I missing something? Does some company that I'm missing offer service? Thanks for any help.

When I lived there in 1998 I had a cable modem through the Palo Alto Cable Co-op. Have you tried them?

I wish That was my problem. I can't get ANY broadband service in my area except Sattelite, and they want $70 a month for 400k down 128 k up. What I call ripping off the neglected.
