"Comcast @home situation"

Hi. I have been discussing the whole @home situation with some buddies of mine who are also @home customers and we are concerned about something. According to the website, comcastonline.com, Comcast is going to be its own ISP service. The question is, would this increase or decrease monthly costs. Have any of you been in that boat with your service, and if so, what was the outcome? I thought that ATT broadband was going to partner with Comcast for the ISP service, but apparently not, (price wasn't right or something). Well, I appreciate any replies to this in advance. Thanks!
