"Adelphia powerlink pricing scheme ?"

I think Adelphia is charging me too much ($49.95 per month) for powerlink. If you are a Adelphia customer, what do you pay? Do you get a discount (I can't) for using your own modem or ethernet card? Do you pay less if you already are one of their cable TV customers?

I just signed up 19.95 first 3 months then 39.95 per month, no contract, includes install,modem, 4 email accounts

I looked up the web site information on billing. It reads $49.95 for a one time installation and a monthly billing of $39.95 for two way cable, which is what I receive. I would call them up and verify. I really like the service even if it was $50 a month. I also recieved a camera, cable modem, and network card installed at my house for my installation fee. More than worth the $50. It lightning fast compared to my 56.6 modem. I'm located in Manhattan Beach, CALIF. Good luck.

I too am paying 39.95 but if you have their digital cable you get $5 off for haing both.
The cable is faster than 56 but can get slow at peak times.

I am too paying 39.95 per month with the first month free(like 7 months ago) but it worked out great for me i got free installation, modem, and a linksys usb network adapter. Since i already had 2 other computers running with ics it allowed me to easily setup the network with the cable without have to disrupt the ethernet card. I am happy with all the stuff i got for the price and am able to share all the bandwith with the 2 other computers easily.
