"How Can i get faster download speeds?"
I live in California and have Road Runner.How do i get faster speeds?In erlier posts people get anywhere from 4000-7000kbps download speeds.I only get about 2000kbps.My modem is a 3com Homconnect Model.3CR29223.

Upload and Download speeds are 'capped' at the 'head end', or ISP - meaning that they are the ones that decide how fast you go. Speed is also decreased when more people in your neighborhood share the bandwidth. I have had good luck with registry mods in Windows to increase speed, but have yet to figure out a way to change what RR has set for my connection.
