I tried it just today, and no it didn't work. I just got done resetting all tcp/ip settings. (@ home in dallas)Back in the day it might have worked, but with all the new advances, I'm sure they found a way to shut it down. I work MIS for a major telecommunications company so I know what I'm doing and looking for in the settings. The quest for something simular is what brought me to find your post.

Yes it does work. I tried on my home computer running XP, and Alcatel modem. I can say the improvement is significant.

Does anybody know how to config fuckpc if I have a Linksys router? I have a Lancity modem, but I use a router because both my PC and Mac share the same cable.

It is supposed to be a cable internet service uncapper...it is supposed to inhibit your cable internet provider from capping your service at a given speed, say, 1.5 Mbps. With it, you are supposed to be able to get real fast speeds, but it has drawbacks. It is detectable and does not always work. You can d/l it from any file sharing program, ie ( Limewire, Bearshare, AudioGalaxy, Kazaa). I have never been able to get it to work. Besides, why would I want to risk it? I get promised speeds.
