Does anyone know how to read the cable modems configuration file to see if it is setup correctly by my isp for upstream/downstream?

I have a Toshiba pcx2000. DOCSIS 1.1

I was told everytime I turn it on it connects to my isp and a new config file *.bin is loaded into its memory. Here is just a sample.cfg file I found at this website:

http://docsis.sourceforge.net/examples/

Is there any programs on the net, NOT like fukupc which has a trojan in it, but one that just reads the config file. I know its binary, so it will have to be converted etc.. to a text file like the one above.

I just want to make sure my cable modem ISP COX is not capping my ass

I dont care about changing it, I'll be happy as long as I get what I pay for. And that is

3000/Mbps down
256/Kbps Up

1. "RE: (configuration file) .BIN for Cable Modem"
get the program called bootp query. it willtell u the ip of your isp's tftp server (the server that send your modem the file) and the filename. then you can use dos prompt to get the file. (tftp -i (tftp server) get (filename)(new filename/location)

ex: tftp -i 24.93.35.114 get isrrip1.bin C:\isrrip1.bin

then use docsis32 to view/edit the file
