"COM21"

I duno, strange, I wen to www.cable-modem.net and tested it's speed. And I got a f****** 2, 2, that is slow, worse then my 56k. And i been tweaking my registry and I see no diffrerence. Anyone here know what I can do to speed this up? i tested speed and it said 2. COM21 is the modem name. Provider is Adelphia. I when I dl on kazaa it is only a mere 5kb sometimes 10kb

I also have a com21 (The small one) and got 310, may be problems with your cable connections in the house or your ISP.

We use com 21 modems here as well(Adelphia). While they aren't Linsys or 3COM quality there's no reason the modem would cause low speeds. Kaaza and sites like this are a great source of computer viruses, and I understand Fed or State crackdowns on music piracy has resulted in service disruptions, usually in the middle of a huge download of music.

I have a COM21 and it is far faster than the teryon I used to have. Make sure you tweak your tcp/ip MTU and MSS to gain optimal throughput.

I done the same test as you. Maybe your settings are incorrect. 516 is what I scored. Wooohooo!!!
