"Speed Booster"

There is this other way to speed things up a little. My explination is cable is runned on networks and diffrent servers other users with your service provider log on to your bandwidth becuase of your internet provider to give them bandwitdh.
A Way to block other cable users from alowing to access your bandwitdth is block all ports that connect to your computer not even the provider can do an assitant help when you have a problem. so go to http://www.analogx.com/contents/download/network/pblock.htm and download the exe file and install it after installed it will access your registry configurations and block all ports that connect to your bandwidth.

man the program does log on to your registery configuration and did block bandwidth from other users it tells you hen other computers try to access ports on my computer.

HAHA!!!! And what comic books have you been reading?? My connect is 2x faster than T1. The upload may only be 425Kbps, but what else am I gonna have need for a 1500Kbps upload. So if I am into gaming online and websurfing, your little 1.5Mbps T1 download just got smoked by over 3Mbps cable.
So PALEEZE!!!! Go try convincing some 12 yr olds in a chat room. Anyone with knowledge about "trans" knows that what you have said is just plain silly. Learn your registry, you don't need any programs, or stay with your ultra fast residential DSL. LOL!!!!!!!!

You have got to be kidding. DSL rocks cables world. I download anywheres from 4.5-5.5Mps. I do not have any usage or data limits lika a lot of cable companies enforce. That is a crock of crap. You try getting your cable to download 670KB/sec. Yeah right. If you were the only person living in New York...lol. The only rockin cable company that comes close to this is OOL. They still have shared bandwidth so it still stinks compared to my dedicated 6Mps 24 hour 7 day a week connection. For $44.95/month it is a steal. Beat that loser!

dude dsl is so much slower than cable i have roadrunner it is very fast

my speed was tested after that program was installed and i got speeds here in www.cable-modem.net up to 322 that was fast thanx fro the program.

Hi whats up i like this program is really cool i see other people's ip when they try to use my bandwidth it get me pist off when i see that they try to connect to my bandwidth but my little port blocker speeds up my connection i also have AT&T.

I don't see any way this program can improve your speeds. This process runs on a computer and the only bandwidth would be the traffic destined for your servers. Most folks don't run servers and those that do want people to connect to them. Blocking users from connecting to a server you're not running is pointless.

The site itself doesn't even mention any possible speed improvement, nor should it. If you see any slight improvement, it's likely a coincidence as multip speed tests run back to back will show different results, especially if they aren't close to you.

So though the program has a purpose and I'm sure serves that purpose well, it will have NO effect on your speeds!

Umm Geek.... I like how you put your smartness to the post but you don't know what your talking about! This program doesn't mention boosting up speed cause theres secrets to all type of programs when you have to many ports open espically port 80 people attent to access your computer on that port useing your ip not that ther hacking or anything but because of the provider cable shares bandwidth with other people on the network your on. What portblocker those is block port 80 which thats the port they use for shareing bandwidth so.... they can't use your bandwidth and when i test my bandwidth its pretty high
