"super fast downloads but slow loading web pages"
I just upgraded to cable recently and am getting extremely fast download speeds, but web pages are somewhat slow to load and seem to hang up often. Also, instead of images showing up, I'm quite often getting a little red x where the picture should be. I do have the "encoding" in the views list set to auto select. Does anyone know what I may be able to do to get rid of this problem? Thanks

There are registry settings and OS settings from dialog boxes that can help, but you need to add some missing pieces to your post. What OS? Speed subscription and tests results.
The lil red boxes with the x's in them are image placeholders. Your OS has them turned on, the only thing that is good for is to make sure everything as loaded, if that.
