"Full Duplex cable modem worthless?"
I remember reading somewhere that most cable modems were half-duplex and even if they were able to connect to your PC at full duplex, the ISP does not have Full Duplex switching equipment so it's pointless.

Not to mention that most cable providers cap the upload speed any way and some people connect their cable modems through a USB port rather then a ethernet connection.

In any event, can anyone confirm or deny this with a reputable web-site explaining it. I wish I could remember where I read it...

Thanks!
Carey
