"Uk Blueyonder"

Does any one have an cable blueyonder connection (UK) if so what sort of speeds do you get. I just wanna know coz for comparisons sake.

Yea Blueyonder is pretty good my top speed is around 70Kbs for all uk sites for us and other its about 40 to 50 which beats the hell out of 56K. I've tried all the tuts on trying to get a faster speed out of it and its impossible to do according to the speed test on this site i never get above 78kbs a sec. A freind of mine has got NTL he get about 125 - 140 kbs according to this site. I think we might of been caped. Hope fully more nodes and servers will become available and the speed goes up.

down load CableNut http://www.cablenut.com/ it verry good tool to use i be useing it for a long time now and my speed are good if you are on 1meg bit your down load are slow i am down 125k or 1meg in 9sec 70k not good if your on 1meg bit

I have blueyonder high speed and get 75/80kb downloads , 40/55kb uploads , both of these reduce by 5/10kb with netdetective or firewall active.........if yours is faster , let me know

Getting download speeds of around 63Kb/sec

are those speeds u getting using a download accelerator like dap5 or just normal downloads. Where could i try a normal download that will tell me my true performance from uk site?

I got it installed last thursday. D/ls vary from 30-50k when d/lin from Kazaa to 80-120k when d/lin from IGN, CNET etc. Uploads are about 25k. I have installed one tweak from speedguide.com, dunno how much it helped but before it i was d/lin at 7k/s.

yea im downloading at 60k normally from websites, before when i got it installed engineer couldnt figure out what was wrong with connection, i was only downloading at 5-6k, after numerous calls they couldnt help me so i went to speedguide.net and got there ini patch, now its works fine, one of best patches to maximise connection. so i called up blueyonder and told them maybe they should carry that patch with their engineers so people wouldnt have slow conns like i did for the first week plus i got charged only 12.50 for first months for my troubles

Mine are about 66k, however after the engineer installed a new cable modem I was getting 135k he said this was due to it taking 2-3 hours for the cap to become effective.

Engineer said it was possible to uncap but he wouldn't give up the secret.

yep got cable blueyonder 1meg bit down , up load is 256. i can down load 125k a sec or 1meg in 9sec and my up is 32k sec and on the test on this web site speed test 140

got 1meg connction and average 250-300 kbs without a download acc. found a great uncapper while living in canada and bought it home with me its only 1mb zip file.....no bull shit wanna use it....whats it worth to mail it lol
