"Cable speed"
My Roadrunner internet runs fine except from the hours of approx. 6:00p.m. to 11:00p.m. During this time it will run normal for a while and then be reduced to a crawl then go back to normal. Is this a problem with my Roadrunner service or is it on my end? I get different answers and theories every time I call RR support. Thanks for any help!

Just to add another theory is that those are "peak times" that a lot of people will be surfing the net in your area. Since it is cable and effectively "shares" bandwidth on the node if everyone is on the net at the same time things become congested and slow down for everyone.

That would be my theory. Try complaining but you might just be stuck. There isn't much you would be able to do on your end.
