"Does Windows XP support Linksys Etherfast Cable Modem?"
When I had xp installed it would not support this modem. After going to microsoft sites and the linksys sites I still havent found out. Both sites seem utterly useless in this answer. Will it ever support it? Any info will be appreciated

XP may not fully support the modem if you are using USB (the drivers are probably still in development) however if you are using ethernet to connect it should be fine since no drivers are needed. Mike

I just looked up the product data sheet on linksys.com after about 5 seconds of looking for it and it states very clearly the System Requirements: PC running Win98, Millenium, or 2000 equipped with a USB port. or ethernet card. No mention of XP using USB but like I just posted ethernet should work fine with XP. Mike
