"New Laptop and wireless hookup"
I am considering buying a new laptop. I currently have a desktop with a cable modem. I am looking for options with a new laptop to share a connection. I would like to go with a wireless net work to have the ability to move around with my laptop. Would like suggestions on best options and products.

Thank You

A buddy of mine uses a linksys router and wireless card for his laptop. He has never mentioned having any problems.

personally I think wireless is the way to go since most of the routers/cards are starting to drop in price. I am contemplating adding a wireless access point behind my router just for fun once I get a new laptop.

The Do see the wireless access point and router all in one now, don't they. If so do you think this is the way to go.

Yes they do sell wireless routers. That would be the way to go.

The only reason I mentioned an access point for myself is the fact that I am very happy with my router and there would be no point for me to replace it when I could just add an access point on my internal network.
