"IP address changes??"
Hi All,
Since I have started running a game server something I can't explain has been happening.

I have a small home network linked to the internet with a Linksys BEFSR41 4 port router.
With the router in I get one internet IP address and when the router is bypassed I get a different IP address. (I don't mean the LAN IP's)

Anyone got any idea why?? - Thanks

because when your computer is behind your router it is assigned an internal address on a 192.x.x.x. network and when you take away the router you will pick up the ip address of your ISP.
