Just curious, if I took a cable modem to another house, who isn't on the same ISP, would it work?

more than likely no it would not work. cable modems are active via mac id #'s and if you move it to a network it will not be recognized. But there is always a chance you could get lucky. Mike gunther52@yahoo.com
