"Which is the best Cable Modem to buy?"
Hi Everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew which the best cable modem there is to buy. I have only seen them from Motorola and Toshiba. Is any one brand faster or better than the other? Thanks,

they are all the pretty much the same, the speed depends on your ISP. I have had good success with Surfboard's and Toshiba and now I have an RCA. All have been decent, or maybe I have just been lucky with my ISPs. Mike gunther52@yahoo.com

linksys as well, make sure it is DOCSIS compliant and that your ISP is as well. (most are by now but there are a few ISP with there own proprietary cable-modem)
