Hi i was just wondering for all you gamers out there, why i cant host any game? with dial up i was able to host a game with an IP address now i cant with my cable connetion.

what type of equipment do you have coming into your computer now, ie: cable modem, router? some of these equipment will not allow access to game ports. you would need to open these ports manually. be aware though that by doing so, you open your PC to the entire web. (as well as hackers 8(( -
