"Still a little confused...umm, Help?"
I have Cable Internet Service and I run Windows XP Pro, I often disable my LAN connection:

1.) Click 'Start'
2.) Choosing 'Settings',
3.) Click 'Network Connections',
4.) Right-Click the Connections Icon
5.) Click 'Disable'

.

Is there an easy way to do the same with Windows 98SE?

My reasoning...Well, If the LAN's are disabled then my computers are not transmitting nor recieving any data over the WWW...Correct?

Wouldn't I need a browser open to actually be connected to the internet?
