I don't know if anyone can help me, but here we go: In my area, we have two ways to get online. a. Choose one of the so/so Dial up ISP's, or b. live within 1500 feet of the phone company's building to get DSL Now, there is a cable company (Adelphia) and they servize areas 30 min away from me, and 2 states away from me. HOW DO I GET CABLE TO MY HOUSE? I have called them MANY times, and they say that they MIGHT get cable to my area in *****3 years***** I can't, (and surrounding net users) live with this. Does anyone have any ideas? Any cable services that I can call and say "well, you will get amazing purchases of your monthly cable service if you extend to my area" or anything? Also, Adelphia has a cable TV line running accross my property, yet they won't extend cable internet to me? Strange and frustrating to a 14 year old internet nerd/gamer like me =) Thanks for your help...any ideas are welcome AllanD

I know somebody in Colorado who has Internet via Satellite dish. I don't recall which service. They use a phone uplink and Satellite downlink. Might be worth checking into.

	direcpc sucks...only good d/l speeds and very..very slow u/l speeds..plus it's expensive and you have to buy the dish...
